Simpson SCW3.25-KT Head-Of-Wall Slide Clip Connector W/Screws, Pkg 25

The SCW connectors offer 1″ of upward and 1″ of downward movement. They are primarily used in head-of-wall applications that require vertical movement relative to the structure. SCW connectors are often used to strengthen window and door jambs for projects that utilize slip track. The SCW3.25-KT slide clip connector features a G90 Galvanized finish for added corrosion resistance and requires the use of hot-dip galvanized fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153.

Installation:

• Use the specified number of #14 shouldered screws (included). Install shouldered screws in the slots adjacent to the No-Equal stamp.
• Use a maximum of 1 screw per slot.

NOTE: The correct fasteners installed in the correct position must be used to achieve published load values
