Simpson HWSC6-KT Head-of-Wall Slide-Clip Connector, 16 Gauge – G90 Galvanized

The HWSC head-of-wall slide-clip connector is specifically designed for simplifying the panelization of 6″ printed studs (e.g., FrameCAD, Arkitech, Howick, Pinnacle and Scottsdale). In head-of-wall situations, the HWSC is designed to replace slotted track with a typical printed track and has undergone assembly testing to ensure peakperformance and strength.

For increased strength and to simplify the process ofinstallation ofthe screws into the clip flange, an edge stiffener has been wrapped into the clip’s web and flange. The clip’s distinctive cone-shaped dimple guides the track dimple into alignment with the clip, securing the connection in place while a screw is inserted into each flange.

• Use (2) XLSH34B1414 #14 shoulder screws (included).
• Use an optional #10 screw to lock deflection gap during panel construction.
