The patent-pending Simpson DGHT is a load-tested fire wall hanger with a two-hour fire rating and ideal for multifamily, multilevel Type III residential construction. The first of its kind, DGHT fire wall hanger designed to install with a power nailer which helps keep construction projects on schedule by saving time before hanging drywall. This top-flange hanger provides space for two layers of 5/8″ gypsum board (drywall) to be slipped into place after the framing is complete. The DGHT is fire rated for use on both sides of the wall and has been tested according to ASTM E814. This heavier gauge hanger is available in standard, skewed or concealed options.
