Simpson MSTC66B3Z Pre-Bent Strap, 14 gauge – ZMAX

The Simpson MSTCB Pre-Bent Strap is a pre-bent strap designed to transfer tension load from an upper-story shearwall to a beam on the story below.

• Use all specified fasteners.
• PSL beam may be used in lieu of a standard-dimension lumber beam with no load reductions.
• Multiply allowable loads by 1.85 to attain an allowable load for installations where two straps have been installed with a 1 1/2″ clear space between straps.

NOTE: The correct fasteners installed in the correct position must be used to achieve published load values
