Simpson Strong-Tie HTS heavy twist straps provide a tension connection between two wood members. They resist uplift at the heel of a truss economically. The HTS has a 3-3/4″ bend section that eliminates interference at the transition points between the two members. The Strong-Tie HTSQ16SS-SDS strap tie in stainless steel for mariane corrosion resistance and requires the use of stainless steel fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153.
