The Simpson ECCLRQ666SDSHDG 6x6x6 End Column Cap L-Shaped Right, Quick-Install with Screws – HDG enhances the strength and stability of your construction projects. Crafted from durable heavy-gauge steel, this column cap is designed to provide column-to-beam connections in end-of-beam applications where two beams form an “L” on top of a column.
The seat of the column cap features additional surface area beyond the side of the column to allow added area of bearing to distribute the load from the beam and provide enhanced support for the connection.
This product is intended for use with 6x posts or columns and 6x beams but is also available in a wide range of other sizes and both nominal and rough-cut lumber. Included with this column cap are the necessary Simpson Strong-Drive SDS connector screws to provide fast installation and lower profile than standard bolts.
