Notice: Do not install anchors with tile grout. Bolthold anchors must be installed with the specified EPX2 or EPX3 special grout.

Bolthold SP12-38 Asphalt Anchors are heavy-duty anchors skillfully designed for asphalt applications. This 12″ asphalt anchor bolt is great for mounting plates, fences, and machinery directly to asphalt surfaces. This anchor requires a 7/8″ hole that is 12″ deep, and the use of grout to secure it into the asphalt. The length of the bolt inside the anchor should not exceed 5″. Each anchor is pre-installed with a 1″ bolt and a 1″ washer.

You can load the anchors at 80% of their pull rating if the object/structure stands solidly by itself. If the object applies a static pull force on the anchors just as it stands, limit the load to 20% of the pull rating.
