The 1-14 Grade C all-metal prevailing torque locknut (Stover-style) is zinc plated for excellent corrosion resistance. Made from medium carbon steel with fine (UNF) threading at 14 TPI. Its distorted top threads generate prevailing torque to resist loosening under vibration and dynamic loads, eliminating the need for nylon inserts ideal for high-temperature environments. Meets IFI-100/107 specs with dimensions per ASME B18.16.6. Hex drive for use with standard wrenches and sockets.
