Simpson THAC426 4×26 Adjustable Truss Hanger – G90 Galvanized

Simpson Strong-Tie THAC adjustable truss hangers’ extra long straps allow full code nailing and can be field-formed to give top flange hanger convenience. The concealed flanges on this hanger have the face flanges turned in for a clean finished look when installed. Straps must be bent for top flange hanger installation. PAN nailing helps eliminate splitting of 4×2 truss bottom chords. The Strong-Tie THAC426 concealed flange truss hanger features a G90 Galvanized coating and requires the use of hot-dip galvanized fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153.

Installation:

• Use all specified fasteners.

• For the THA29, nails used for joist attachment must be driven at an angle so that they penetrate through the corner of the joist and into the header. For all other top flange installations, straighten the double shear nailing tabs and install the nails straight into the joist.
