The Simpson CCOS5.50 Steel Column Cap – G90 Galvanized enhances the strength and stability of your construction projects. Crafted from durable heavy-gauge steel, this column cap is designed to provide column-to-beam connections in wood construction.

The seat of the column cap features additional surface area beyond each side of the column to allow added area of bearing to distribute the load from the beam and provide enhanced support for the connection, while the strapless design was created specifically for field welding to a steel column.

This product is intended for use with 5.25LVL/PSL/LSL beams but is also available in a wide range of other sizes.
