Simpson Strong-Tie Drop-In setting tools are the ideal solution for accurately and consistently installing Simpson Drop-In anchors.This setting tool is compatible with Simpson DIA50SS, DIA506SS, and DIA50C drop-in models. When using this tool, drop-ins are installed by driving the expander plug toward the bottom of the anchor until the shoulder of the setting tool makes contact with the top of the anchor. Using a fixed-depth drill bit prevents overdrilling, saves time, and prolongs bit life.
