The Simpson CCOQ4-SDS2.5HDG Column Cap Only Quick-Install 7 Gauge – Hot Dip Galvanized enhances the strength and stability of your construction projects. Crafted from durable heavy-gauge steel, this column cap is designed to provide column-to-beam connections in wood construction.

The seat of the column cap features additional surface area beyond each side of the column to allow added area of bearing to distribute the load from the beam and provide enhanced support for the connection, while the strapless design was created specifically for field welding to a steel column.

This product is intended for use with 4x beams but is also available in a wide range of other sizes. Included with this column cap are the necessary Simpson Strong-Drive SDS screws to provide fast installation and lower profile than standard bolts.
