Timco’s carriage bolts and hex nuts have a domed head bolt with a square anti spin shoulder mainly used within clamping timber to timber or attaching ironmongery. With it’s anti-spin shoulder at the top of the shank you can make sure the neither the bolt or the timber can slip once secured in place.
The large flat head helps to significantly reduce the chances of damage to the substrate due to the clamping force being distributed evenly across the surface.
